Four Phases to Online Success
In our last installment we discussed how to get started with online marketing if all you had was the knowledge you have accumulated over time. You will now see that this falls into four distinct phases of progress to accomplish the ultimate online success. Let’s get into it.
Online Success Phase I
In phase one we use an self liquidating offer (SLO), which is low cost and high value report, that we can offer on the front-end. By doing this it gives us the needed capital to fund the list building process. It allows us build a list of buyer or potential buyers highly targeted to our niche. We can re-invest the profits from this activity into growing the list and further enhancing our ability to market other related offers to the list.
The report should provide a complete solution to a single problem. This gives the reader the solution to a single issue and puts them closer to their final objective. The report should provide a real world solution with actionable steps. The report should not be an incomplete it should show the user how to do that one thing really well.
The report should be between 10 to 20 pages or 4 to 5 videos. We could create a combination of both a report and videos as well. The Cost of this should be set between$17 to $97 dependent on the niche. Please note that we want to get as many real buyers onto our list and not just tire kickers.
Phase one should be complete in just a few days at most. New-bees may take a little longer but should not spend weeks trying to accomplish this step. If you need to outsource some of this to get it done quickly, the trade off here is that we need more up-front capital to get into the game.
Online Success Phase 2
The second phase is to create a back-end autoresponder series. This is where you can reassure your customer that they have made a wise decision. You can now help them to utilize the information you sold them and build a relationship. You can also motivate them to take the action required to get results. This series should build from where the initial report started. Here you can deliver further quality content that will help to solidify your relationship and establish rapport and build trust. This is an essential step in creating online success.
During this series we can introduce a few new products that will deliver on the story we’re building on. Since we are are helping our customers to solve their original problem, it only makes sense to deliver products that help further the solution we delivered on the front-end.
