Optimization Techniques : Simple Ways to Improve Search
Simple ways to improve your search by using optimization techniques without spending a kings ransom to get it done. The best way to accomplish this is to build quality back links to the page you want to rank on the search engines. Backlinks show the search engines that other pages and WEB 2.0 sites find your content interesting enough to provide links back to the content.
Article Marketing
The first of the optimization techniques is to use article marketing service to publish related articles that include your keywords and then link these articles back to your original post. One of the most respected article marketing sites is Ezines Articles, you can submit original articles to Ezines Articles and they will be approved within a few days.
Another way to use article marketing is to use a service or a tool to automatically submit articles to multiple article sites. AMR, Article Marketing Robot is one of the tools I have used successfully to accomplish. You can take a spun article and create unique copies on multiple article sites quickly.
For more information about the first of the optimization techniques, AMR, click HERE now.
Press Releases
The second of the optimization techniques is to use use press releases to bring light to your site. Press releases allow a focused summary of what your site is trying to accomplish and allows media outlets to publish it on their sites to those interested in your topic. This a great way to reach your target market by creating a compelling and professional release that spotlights your site to your perfect customer of prospect.
A free press release site that I have used in the past is PressExposure.com. Just write a one time press release and let it work to create backlinks from their member sites.
E-mail signature
The third of the optimization techniques is to use a simple yet very effective way to build traffic and improve your SEO is to add your blog to your e-mail signature. You may also add a simple request form the reader to check you latest post. Al cheap but potentially effective way to build blog readership as well as you SEO from the additional traffic you generate.
Social Media
The fourth of the optimization techniques is to post your blog to social media sites, google has updated its algorithm to take into account social media sites such a Facebook likes and shares. One very critical site the Google+ , since it’s a google property. You can make this a pet of your regular process by creating a routine that you follow after every post is published.
Although posting yourself on these sites can be very time consuming as well as limited to only your post. Luckily there are tools out there that allow you to automate your posting and leverage the time and resources of others that also use these tools.
First tool is Only-Wire this tool allows you to automate the posting to all the major social media sites. There’s a free version to start of off, but I suggest once you get going to upgrade to their paid version which allows you automatically feed new blog posts to their site.
Once you have completed your Only-Wire account, you can now look into integrating it with a post submission network such as Tribe PRO. Tribe PRO has different versions a free version which allows you to get a feel for the tools and how it works. In order to receive the greatest benefit you need to upgrade to either the Plus or Pro versions. If you’re ready to get started click HERE now.
I would suggest starting out with the Plus version, which allows you setup you automation and automatically syndicate others content. The idea is for you to syndicate their content and then they will also syndicate your content. You must be careful not to syndicate content to Facebook, Twitter or Google+, if your not careful you can get your account closed for spamming.
So go out and pick one, two or all these methods and get your content to rank one the fist page of the search engines.

Hey Bill,
You covered some really great ways to drive SEO in this post, we highly recommend all these types to our small business clients that we help with their marketing needs. While some are better in different instances, we both know one is not superior than the others.
The key here is to use a variety of a few of the mentioned about and give it TIME, this is not a overnight process that gets you to page one over night. We always reference these types of marketing strategies as like a coffee percolator, over time building up pressure, and starting to really get some action.
So you really didn’t mention blogging, what are your thoughts on this?

Hi Robert,
Great point, the traffic needs to go somewhere and a BLOG can become the central hub for all activity. A Ray Higdon states you will always be the owner of your blog. All other sites can go away but you will always have your blog to connect with you market.
Thanks
Bill

Hi Michelle,
Yes press releases can be a cheap and simple way to connect and get your brand out there. I wouldn’t make this the primary or only vehicle, but it can contribute to a successful campaign.
Thanks
Bill

Bill,
I like all the marketing strategies you mention. I can’t emphasize enough the key to all the writing comes down to your Keyword Research. You want to be able to get ranked for the keyword you are going after. Google will love you and over time you will be on page 1:)
Articles and press releases should all be pointing back (backlinking) to your prime real estate…your blog. Helpful post!

Hi Damayanthi,
If you try AMR just make sure you use a captcha solver solution, otherwise it’s too time consuming.
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill – great great post here! You know, I wish I came across this post months ago. It’s taken me quite some time to learn the ropes when it comes to “getting out there” but it’s coming along quite nicely!
This is a great list.. And you know, I never thought that putting your blog URL as your email signature would have made a difference, but you’re right! I have several emails that I use and I don’t have it in all of my signatures. I’ll have to put those in ASAP. Thanks so much for the tip and for the great blog post!!
