Opt-In List – Six Incredible E-mail Strategies to Explode Your List
If you have been online for anytime you know that the money is in the list. So the biggest question is how to grow your opt-in list to the point that it starts to generate a monthly income and becomes a long term asset. The answer is simpler than you think, you just need to, drive enough traffic to your capture pages and your list will grow very quickly. The following six ways will bring targeted traffic to your squeeze pages and explode your opt in list by leaps and bounds.
Opt-in List – Beginner Strategies
Ad Swaps
Ad swaps can be used once you have built an opt-in list of over 300 people. What you do is find someone that has has a list of a similar size and is looking to expand their list as well. You send their ad koto your list and they will send your ad to their list. The idea is you can expand your list and they will expand their list as well. You can find interested people to do ad swaps on the WarriorForum.com or search Google for ad swaps. Once you grow your list you may want to move to other more advanced techniques.
Solo Ads
A solo ad is an e-mail that is sent to a persons or group that has an existing list of people that are possibly interested in your product or service. There are general interest and niche specific solo ads list available. This is one of the quickest ways to build your opt-in list.
Free Solo Ads
Free Solo Ads are a perfect strategy for you as beginner to get your feet wet into driving traffic to your squeeze page and jump start your opt in list. The pros of this method is there isĀ low monetary cost of entry. You land up paying for this service with your time as the free solo ads require you to take some action to receive the benefits. The cons of the free solo ads are there a lower quality of the leads and conversions from these solo ads are much lower than the paid solo ads. You will not get any guarantee that you will receive any clicks from the free solo ads.
Opt-In List – Intermediate Strategies
Paid Solo Ads
The paid solo ads are very similar to the free solo ads although paid solo as are considered an intermediate level strategy. This strategy alone can build you a huge opt in list. The pros are that individuals on these list are typically more targeted and the list owners usually have a good understanding of what types of ads tend to convert better with their list. The cons are that these list tend to have a higher cost than the free solo ads. When you purchase a paid solo ad you are guaranteed a certain number of clicks from the submission. One important thing to consider is that the cost per click from solo ads will be much lower than most PPC campaigns.
Opt-In List – Advanced Strategies
The more advance techniques include using Big Lists and List Brokers to get boat loads of traffic to your squeeze page. These use of these techniques are considered advance due to the cost of implementing these strategies which will run into a few thousand dollars or more just to get started. I will discuss one strategy that will allow you to reduce that coast, but more one that a little later.
I will discuss the last three strategies in my next post, but if you are ready to get started building your opt-in list or expanding your then we need to work together at DotComSecretsx to build your opt-in list.
Yours in mastery.

Great post Bill,
There is definitely magic in building a BIG list and cultivating the a relationship with the list. I actually didn’t know that there was a such thing as FREE Solo Ads but you made it quite clear that we’re going to pay one way or another. Either thru time or money and I think I would rather pay for the quality ads to get the best bang for my buck and get the higher quality leads.
Thanks for sharing, Bill.

Hey Bill,
I have never implemented any of this strategies mentioned here.
I pretty much drive traffic through my blog and I try to convert them into leads on the spot. But of course I keep my option open when it comes to building a targeted list.
Thanks for the share!

Hi Akos,
Using these strategies can get some quick traffic and help build a list. If you have traffic through SEO then it’s not as pressing an issue. Although I wouldn’t put all my eggs in one basket, specially when that basket is Google.
Thanks for dropping by.
